Citizenm Geneva Hotel

I have to admit, I didn’t do any deep research when I chose this hotel. I saw the good reviews and needed to find a hotel for an evening, and that’s how I basically selected it. The hotel is very nice and hip, the interior design is very fun, and the staff I’ve interacted with have been super nice! However, this may be my fault, but I thought I was booking a fairly standard hotel, but it turned out not to be the case. The room I was placed in was very small (like the sink for the bathroom is in the main room), which I normally wouldn’t mind, but it only had two tiny windows that I wasn’t able to see out of - so it really did feel like being in a small box. There’s also nothing in the room in terms of tea, coffee, bottled water etc. There is the opportunity to order food 24/7 which is great, but having a few basic things in the room also would have been nice. A very hotel, but good to know what you’re coming into, and if you’re looking for a more normal room with a view, this may not be the hotel for you.

I joined the membership program for free which gave me a few perks and discounts to book hotels in Geneva and Paris. Five stars for the ease of booking, check in and out, free cancellation until 6pm ON the day of arrival for last minute plan changes, late check out 2pm and friendly English speaking staff. I was impressed by the utilisation of the room space and did not feel cramped. We found the large king bed with soft quilt covers and extra large pillows extremely comfortable. A fun bonus is being able to control the lighting, colours, curtains and even mood of the room from an app. Perfect location next to the old town and lake surrounded by luxury shops.

I had a very professional and personal experience of 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ epic proportions, The entire staff was A-1 professional and very accommodating. Special shout out to Katarina (France, Miami) she was the best person and so very professional, please be sure she gets promoted and the accolades she deserves.
